About this model
Here's a fairly simple filament storage rack system that utilizes 1/2in EMT conduit pipe to provide structure. You can expand it as far or as high as you like, you just might need to put some support parts in the middle if you make it especially wide. I used 4 pieces of 10ft conduit to construct two 3-tiered versions. To make the design pictured that holds 8 spools side-by-side, you'll need 22-1/2in pieces for the long parts and 9in pieces for the vertical supports. 9in verticals is the ideal size I feel for ease of spool movement and clearance. I recommend printing the Hole Test file to verify that your conduit fits correctly. This can depend on printer or filament differences and you can adjust the scale percentage to adjust for that. I used a mallet to get the long parts in.
