About this model
I wanted to make a Book of Spells and was having trouble finding all of the pieces. I used to make the snake corner pieces as well as the one that runs along the spine. But I still needed the front clasp, the "rope" that ties down the side, and the fingers for the spine (I didn't care about the back clasp because no one will be picking up the book). * I used the Thing hand ( as a starting point for the fingers. I scaled it and cut it up so that it looks like a finger and has fingernails on it. * Next, I used the rope from this design ( and stretched it and cut it to make the clasp. I used 3D Builder in Windows to add the hinge pieces to it. * Lastly, I modeled the clasp that goes over the eye in 3D Builder completely.
