About this model

As pictured, the purpose for this item was to create a LEGO-based Pi Camera mount that could be attached to a MakerBeam rail. Adaptor for LEGO brick attaches to small MakerBeam rail ( The Pi Camera mount will accept a 1x2 "gimbal" LEGO piece (I think I got some from a LEGO store, but also found here - or - web search = 'small towball and socket lego') Printed parts on a Printrbot Simple Maker 1405, "standard" settings. I had to trim a bit and press firmly to get the real Lego brick to attach, but once pressed into place, sit firmly, which is all I need. I'm sure if I used my Prusa i3MK2, would have been a better fit and easier to remove/replace bricks. Similar for the camera mount - a bit tight, but just used x-acto and a little heat to help the fit the 1x2 LEGO - glue/epoxy would also wor…
