About this model
I designed this folding portable monitor stand as an improved version of the one that was included with the 17.3" portable monitor we purchased. (The smaller stand in the pictures is the one that was included.) The included stand was 3.5" W x 2.5" H and my design is 7" W x 5" H. Not only did I enlarge the stand to provide more stability for the monitor, I also changed the front lip to a full bar instead of two tabs and added indents in the bottom to stick rubber pads so that the stand doesn't slide during use. I also made sure to maintain the slim folding function and multiple viewing angles of the original design. I printed this using my QIDI X-Plus and oriented the print on its side so that the hinges would print properly (this design prints as one piece as seen in the last picture). If …
