About this model

This is a tank connector which is designed to be used as an outlet on a water tank. NOTE: THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED FOR DOMESTIC OR COMMERCIAL PLUMBING, WHERE IT WOULD ALMOST CERTAINLY RESULT IN A LEAK. I made this as a component of a Halloween Fog Chiller that I'm bulding! The plain outlet pipe is designed to be compatible with UK standard universal fit or 40mm compression plumbing fittings, which are inexpensive and readily available. You need to add a suitable washer in order to form a seal. If you can't find one with a suitable size, you can cut one from a sheet of rubber or similar. I used a sheet of foam to make a washer, and was able to get a water tight seal in a shallow tank with about 10cm depth of water totalling about 8 litres.
