About this model
This is essentially rmm5t's Treasure Chest, re-sized for 1/8" ply. The layout is arranged to be cut from a single sheet of 12"x20"x1/8" (i.e. Proofgrade®) Be aware of the orientation of the pieces when you are removing them from the laser: this design layout takes advantage of continuous grain patterns! It can be assembled without glue, but it will be very fragile. If assembled using glue, it will be solid and usable. I recommend a gel superglue, one formulated for wood if you can find it. The hinge holes are sized for a wooden BBQ skewer, you may have to adjust them. The "padlock" is held together with four chicago screws, 5mm in diameter and 8mm deep.
