About this model
This is a replacement housing for the motor encoder on a Jura brew group (used in various consumer and professional automatic coffee machines). The encoder has an identification number as 44524 V2 and exposes a 4 pin connector. The pinout (left to right with shaft opening to top) is: +5V, signal 1, GND, signal 2 The PCB is a simple duo-led bridge and a 74HC14D hex inverter output for signal 1 and signal 2 with an encoder wheel with 8 leafs. Reason to design this housing: When removing the encoder from the motor shaft, the thin extruded shaft parts of the encoder housing seem to break frequently due to mounting it using a metal hose clamp. It's one of those mounting solution that makes you wonder like... what where they thinking?? ;)
