About this model
Note: Scale all parts except truck parts to 114% for 1:29 scale. This is a Beta version of a G Gauge General Electric Dash 9 Locomotive. The individual parts are designed to be printed on a 20 x 20 cm builders plate like that found on an Ender 3. The base plates are held together with M3 bolts running thru a 1.25 x .25" steel bar that serves as the support for the model. You will need to drill out the pilot holes in the base plates as well as the engine sections. I would recommend at least 4mm to give yourself some wiggle room while assembling. There are three versions of the bogies (trucks) included; one for static display with wheels as part of the bogie, one with 3mm axle holes and one with 7mm recesses for ball bearings. I will add more files to accommodate USA Trains motor blocks late…
