About this model
I was in the process of rebuilding my Anet A8 to an AM8, following pheneeny's excellent package, and another great package by chipg07, when I decided to make a few alterations. I wanted to move the electronics underneath the print bed, for a more streamlined look, as well as use a Bowden style extrusion system utilizing the extruder and hot-end from a CR10s (spares from my other printer). There are a couple of other changes also, but those were the big ones. In the end, placing all the electronics underneath the bed proved too congested, so the PSU remains on the upper right vertical Z extrusion as usual - although in a different case with modifications....
