About this model
This little adapter lets you use Hakko T12/T15 tips on your TS100 soldering iron. (T12/T15 are the same, just for different markets) Of course, your iron will be longer, but the upshot is that the Hakko tips can be had for cheaper, and the little rubber grip on the Hakko has a lot better feel than the body of the TS100. The adapter includes a built-in stand. I was able to print it without any supports by printing with the stand end face down. Once you are done, slide the rubber grip on a Hakko tip and click it into place, and then click the adapter into the rubber tip. Loosen the Allen bolt on the iron and slide it into the iron. It'll only fit one way. Lock it down gently with the Allen bolt and you're good to go. This area on the iron does not heat up, so printing with PLA is just fine. …
