About this model
Pushbutton-activated child safety latch for wooden cabinets and drawers. Installs with a single #4 (2.5mm) screw and can be operated with one thumb. The mechanism is hidden behind the cabinet door except for the discreet release button. Prints quickly and without supports. Releasing the latch requires first sliding the button to the right against a spring, then pressing down against another spring. That should be complex enough to thwart even a genius toddler. Intended for cabinets that have a front face or front flange for the latch to grab (see illustration). If your cabinets have no front trim around the door openings, you'll need to embed a small screw inside the front edge of your cabinets (protruding about 5mm) so the latch has something to grab.
