About this model
Hi everyone, this is my version of a fully programmable Kryptex. The idea was not my own; all inspiration was from the following thing: But I found some points that I wanted to improve and also I wanted to try out to design a more complex model with several parts like this. This was motivation enough to create an own model based on the given parts with some improvements: - tolerances are at 0.3mm in order to create enough room for rotating and everything - the inner rings are designed in a way that any position is lined up with a specific letter - the inner ring has no sharp edges which makes it easier to print - the outer ring has all letters from A to Z and one additional free spot acting as a space to provide more flexibility - because of the more letters the radius enlarged which also …
