About this model
ATTENTION: I'm leaving this up because there are remixes linked to it. It is faulty, and has been fixed in remixes. This is a Minecraft chest designed in OpenSCAD during a build-off at the Orlando Science Center hosted by FamiLAB. We each chose our modeling softwares we knew best and attempted to build a chest in a few hours, while simultaneously discussing the concept of hackerspaces with members of the public. The chest measures about 50mm cubed, or twice that when a double chest, and was designed to print as one plate. I'd love to see your prints of this, especially if you paint it!
