About this model
In most cases, you'd save yourself the effort and just buy a case similar to this. In some very specific cases, you might need something sized to fit a particular piece of equipment, which is exactly why this was designed. The case is designed to have a silicone seal inserted around the rim to make it water tight. The pins for the hinges and latches can all be printed, or substituted for 6mm bolts. The case is rather large and wont fit on most average printers, but, it scales down well and I have even printed it half size (I would recommend using steel screws as hinge pins if shrinking the case this much).
