About this model
This is a bread slicer that can be collapsed into 4 pieces to minimize the required storage space. The slicer supports loafs baked in a 5" x 9" bread pan and knives that are up to 2mm thick. The source code for this design is provided so that it can be modified to support other bread and knife sizes. You will need to print (1) base, (1) slide, and (2) guides. To assemble: 1. Stand a guide upright 2. Inserts the base onto the guide pegs 3. Stand the second guide upright 4. Insert the other side of the base on to the second guide pegs 5. Insert the stopper into the last knife slits of each guide To use: 1. Insert a loaf of bread onto the base 2. Slide the loaf of bread until it reaches the stopper 3.
