After having finished the Prusa Lack enclosure from I printed the adjustable spool holder from which is a really clever idea for the lack enclosure.But the noise of the spools scratching on the non spinning wheels was a bit annoying. (see video on - the original wheel isn't moving)So I replaced the axles and the wheels by using a ball bearing (8x22x7) with a printed tread and a matching two-part axle.It fits perfectly into the holder and is really silent. The treads of the wheels are 9mm wide and have a small lip to center the ball bearing.just slide in a bearing (usually no need to glue it - but depends on your dimensional accuracy), insert a square nut in the axle part, insert both axle parts in the bearing and screw it together.maybe consider to sand the tread to make it smooth Happy s…
