Some time-lapse of the process and footage of the finished model: After posting the Spring Bunny model I got a request to make it into an egg holder. As it happens I was just in process of modeling a wicker basket and experimenting with 3D printed grass, so I decided to implement them to create this egg holder. Everything is printed and support free, the grass part is takes a long time (8 hours for me) but is still faster than growing it! In fact that's where the idea came from, I wanted to do another Easter release but in time before Easter. Since there's still no grass outside here, 3D printing offered a solution to this problem. However I have also included a base if you want to try growing your own easter grass on it instead.
