About this model
I also have a Patreon page! :D Pew! Pew! This little TIE fighter was a fun diversion to see if I could find a way to model such a thing so that it could be printed in one piece, without support. After a few different approaches, I settled on printing it sideways, and angling the wing struts inwards a little, then finding a balance between printability and the overall look of the thing. Now, while I wouldn't use grand terms like "torture test", you'll want to have things reasonably well dialled-in, mostly to handle the overhang, which is about a 70 degree angle to vertical. I found that slowing the feed rate right down made a huge difference. The Little TIE Fighter is meant to be cute, so see how small you can scale it!
