Diogenes The Lantern is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Diogenes of Sinope, the Greek Cynic philosopher, famously carried a lantern in broad daylight through the streets of Athens, symbolizing his relentless search for an honest man. This act highlighted his critique of society’s moral corruption and his commitment to virtue and simplicity, using the lantern as a vivid emblem of his quest to illuminate truth and integrity amidst widespread hypocrisy. That's why I've designed him as a hero weilding a lantern with a gaurd dog (a call back to the famous sculpture of him with a dog at his side) standing victoriously over a fallen insect gladiator (follow to see my insect characters drop) Stay tuned for more…
