Original Text: I loved the design/concept of the spool holder designed by edgarp ( but found the edges very hard to grab when trying to take the holder off of the filament spool. Using the dimensions on their page I remixed it with the following changes: - Added 5 mm of flat space on the end of both nut and base. - Added notches in edge for easier grip - Increased the overall length of the base piece by 6.5 mm to better fit the size of my CR-10S spool holder (32 mm diameter and 82 mm length to threads). This allows the stock spool holder nut to secure this addition in to place. Please Note: With the increased length of the base both the stock CR-10 spool holder nut and the nut of this piece cannot be tightened as tight as possible.
