About this model

Summary Video: This is a custom sized linkage lid box that is easy to print using default settings. No supports or assembly is required and can be printed on nearly any FDM printer. If you’re having issues, try scaling the smallest model up to 150% and slightly underextruding. Unfortunately the tolerances have to be tight in order to shrink the mechanism to be this small and for the lid to wear in without getting loose. If you need a specific size, feel free to leave a comment; I can generate additional .stl's with a script. The filenames include the outer dimensions of the box in inches, I recommend testing hinge tolerance using one of the smaller models. Post a make if you print one! Happy printing!
