After making the BTR-80 and BTR-3, I received quite a few comments asking for one particular improvement: “Can the wheels actually rotate on the next APC?” Well… this time I decided to try it. 😁Meet the BTR-22, one of Russia’s newer-generation 8×8 armored personnel carrier concepts. You can think of it as a simpler and more affordable alternative to the much more ambitious K-17 Boomerang platform.But for this model, the thing I wanted to experiment with the most wasn’t actually the armor or the turret.🛞 THE WHEELS CAN FINALLY ROTATEYep. 😁After the feedback I received from the BTR-80 and BTR-3, I remake the wheel system so the wheels on this BTR-22 can actually rotate freely.It sounds like a small feature, but I think it makes a huge difference when handling the model, posing…
