About this model
I wanted a solution to mount my bike on my apartment wall. I had seen hangers in the past that utilized the pedal to secure the bike to the wall, and liked the idea since it would lend itself to being a printed part, vs the large bike mounts I have seen. I also wanted it to be very easy to use on a daily basis. This is what I came up with, and after using it for a while, I really like it. with the bike being fairly high up on the wall, it keeps it out of the way so I can still utilize the space around it. It is very easy to get the bike up and down on the rack, and has proven to be very secure so far. The wheel "shelves" serve the purpose of taking a small amount of the bike's weight, keep the bike in a level position, and keep the wall from being all marked up. Two of these need to be pri…
