About this model

This conceptual shoe design demonstrates how nTopology can be used to incorporate complex triply period minimal surfaces (TPMS) into CAD objects. See here for video: See here for stable download: The basic structure of the shoe is designed parametrically in Onshape. Three different orientations of the gyroid TPMS are incorporated into the upper, midsole and outsole using nTopology’s conformal cell maps. Thickening and blending of boundary edges are done using field driven design.
