About this model
I wanted this mount for my usb microscope, but wanted a few extra tweaks and features. I also wanted it fully printable to save myself a trip in to town. The main parts of the unit are the same as Chrlee's Modular stand, but with enlarged screw holes to accommodate printed hardware. Big thanks to Chrlee for the original design. I used gwhiteside's Improved adapter to get some extra grip. Big thanks for that one, buddy! I also modified it with inspiration from doctek's Smooth Focus model, but again went the 100% printed route. I had to redesign the helical gear and mounting system for my microscope, but thanks are due here for the inspiration. Thank you doctek.
