This is a "gripping" smartphone holder than depending on the attachment you use, can mount in a car or to a wall. The gripping action is achieved with a rubber band. Some features / design goals 1. One handed insertion of phone. The back plates have a locking mechanism so they won't slide off accidentally. Just slide the top edge of the phone in and up and then when high enough, seat the bottom of the phone in the holder. 2. One holder, multiple mounting options. Mount to wall, car vent or CD slot. Other attachments can be created and swapped out. 3. NO SUPPORT NEEDED for ANY part. I print the CD Slot attachment at an angle with a raft and it prints without supports. To swap mounting attachments, you can pinch the arches on the back plates to slide them off of the holder. When you slide in…
