About this model

Spring is coming and there are lots of plants to get started. Here's a customizable flower pot to help. I'm not sure how well PLA really works as flower pot material (it should be fine), but you don't have to actually put real plants in them. Plastic plants - that would seem to be rather appropriate. Easter eggs might work, too. Jelly beans would also be a good choice for the smaller ones. [update: Started some catnip seeds in the small beige pot with the vertical walls. I haven't seen any seepage of water through the layers, but have it on a pad, just in case.] [ update: the original catnip seedlings are now 6 weeks old - updated photo.] [update: added a screen for the bottom of the pot to allow drainage while trying to keep the soil inside.
