About this model
Here is a mammoth skull replica. This model originated from a larger model of a woolly mammoth skeleton. The original model was taken from a 3D scan by the National Museum of Natural History and used as part of the Smithsonian X3D Program. MeshMixer was used to isolate the skull and create a flat plane in the model to ensure a good print and a surface to mount the part to a wall. This model prints very well. PS: printed at 50% scale.
