About this model
I love the great detail that metaform3d put into his 1/4 scale Battle Droid. But..... Why so small? I scaled it up 400%. I printed the head and found that it was AWESOME! It took over 400 hours and 4+ rolls of plastic to print this MASSIVE build. It will stand on its own if it is leaning up against a wall but i made a wooden stand that used velcro to hold it to the back When the backpack is added i will scale and print too. UPDATE: 11/30 BIG Thanks to metaform3d for adding the backpack. i have sized it up 400% and sliced it for printing on a Replicator 5th. I have not printed it yet so i have not tested if it needs support turned on or not. But it looks like they won't need support. If you want to add the 2 antennas at full size i plan to use wooden dowels. I do not have a good blaster fil…
