About this model
After searching for dual monitor mounts for my particular setup, and refusing to spend $65+ on a stand that fit my needs, decided to make one. This uses 3/4 EMT tubing as the main support (cheap, 10ft section was $6), and some left over self tapping screws from my EMT8 build and we were off. Made this to be sandwiched between my shelf and desk with screws to hold it in place. Works great with my monitors, and should work well for most others. Fits VESA 100/100 mounts. Also included a few different mounting options for different monitors, setup's etc. Also included is a 90* piece so that if you dont have a shelf, can 90 and secure it to the wall (choice is yours). And for reference, the top monitor is a heavy, older dell lcd, thing must weigh like 7-8lbs and the mounts are holding perfect, …
