About this model

Before & After Video This is an ant moat specifically designed for the BirdSnap hummingbird feeder attachment. I found a lot of ant moat STLs online, but none were for this attachment (which is an absolute ant magnet). After extensive testing, I found the perfect size and depth to keep the ants out. Here is a quick video showing how to use it. I fill the moat with white vinegar (which does not bother the hummingbirds), but water also seems to work. Print with PETG, as PLA is too porous (the vinegar leaks right through). Note: The mounting post requires supports, and automatic tree supports work fine.
