About this model
Hallo there, I am a big Game of Thrones Fan and also a hobby propmaker and a professional machine designer. I searched for a new project for my holidays and thought the Longclaw from Jon Snow would be pretty nice. Afer 30 minutes of searching through all diferent platformes i couldnt find the 100% correct movie prop from the show, so i decidet do make the file myself. I am very good ad hard surface modeling but struggle with sculpting so i searched for the pommel that fitted my design best. So i used this one I used pictures and the dimensions from the licenced propmaking company my design would be as realistic as i was possible to make it. I reinforced the pommel, handle and guard with a 10mm aluminium rod and the blade with two 4mm brass rods.
