About this model

The original plastic brackets of Smart Roadsters to secure body panels fail miserably after many years of use and rusted screws. They are hard to find new and/or they are way too expensive, so I have designed my own version. Fitment is the same, but they look slightly different. That's because the originals are designed for injection molding, whereas these are designed for 3D printing, which gives opportunities to new constructions and designs. The clip sits loose when first placed. Once a screw is screwed in, two legs will bend outwards and thereby grabbing underneath the metal plate where it is positioned in.
