About this model

I created this model to avoid using a submersible pump when water accumulates between the winter cover and the pool. I used a flexible hose, but I recommend using a rigid pipe if possible; this avoids the need to place a weight on the pipe itself to keep the drain upright. The weight is optional; however, I used a stainless steel round bar weighing approximately 1 kg. I recommend using two of the gaskets supplied with INTEX pools for the inlet/outlet fittings—one on the outside and one on the inside. INTEX gasket model: 10255 Tips: Use Teflon tape on the threads for a better seal and tighten securely. If possible, print the gaskets using TPU 85A (I will upload the file in a few days). The leaf catcher is optional; those who do not have issues with falling leaves can skip it.
