Wer ein paar hundert Platten im Regal stehen hat, sucht. Jedes Mal. Man weiß, dass sie da ist, man weiß ungefähr wo, und trotzdem zieht man sich durch zwei Handbreit Rücken, bis man sie in der Hand hält. Danach steht sie irgendwo anders wieder drin, und beim nächsten Mal geht es von vorn los. Diese Reiter sind dagegen entstanden. Aus dem Alltag, nicht am Reißbrett. Wie sie sitzen Der Stiel schiebt sich zwischen zwei Platten, die 90°-Innenecke legt sich an die Regalkante, die Scheibe bleibt außen stehen und zeigt den Buchstaben. Gehalten wird der Reiter vom Gewicht der Platten selbst — nichts klemmt, nichts federt, nichts kann ausleiern. Die Rückseite ist vollkommen glatt.
