About this model
Just got Forbidden Desert board game yesterday. It's an awesome steampunk desert survival & escape game from the creator of Pandemic -- voted in the top 200 games on There is a storm that moves around and the game just leaves that tile empty. I made this cool little storm place holder for the game, to give it some spice! :) Remixed from Tornado Vase (thank you so much for the model). I sliced it in blender and added a base the same size as the other tiles on the game. I printed it .1 layer height in white and did 2 or 3 coats of burnt umber. I then just started going lighter and lighter in the shades, dry brushing, to the best of my modest ability. Used some playsand for the base.
