About this model

This is a simple GT2 Belt Slicer/Joiner. I have created this in order to make a Closed Loop GT2 belt from a open loop one I had.Simply cut 5 to 10 teeth from one end with a razor or grind with an abrasive tool (only the teeth so the end is flat like in the picture)Put the other end on the Splicer so that it covers halfPut the trimmed end also leaving one tooth empty (makes for better sliding on the pulley)Glue both ends togetherPut the other part of the splicer and use M5 screws to hold them togetherAccording to glue used, wait until its readyThe more teeth you cut, the longer the glueing area so the stronger the beltUse elastic glue if possibleEnjoy
