About this model
A few years ago I made this as a rendering for my kitchen backsplash. At some point I thought, why not print it out and put it on a shelf?It's a tribute to the legendary photo from the New York Times "Lunch atop a skyscraper" and of course Star Wars. Now what has always belonged together comes together ... If you don't want to waste so much material or have problems while printing, try cutting the model exactly in the middle of the support surface, like here (or use the halfcut profile):This makes it an pretty easy print (use tree support!) I glued the legs and the surface with plastic glue, it holds perfect and the result looks quite good.
