About this model

DesignI needed a cover for a fan on an intake of a 40mm Noctua fan to help ensure it does not get damaged and designed this grill to fix the problem as well as an alternative model. The “Safer” version has a 3mm spacing between grill sections, rather than 5mm of the other one. It's a safety/airflow trade-off. If small fingers are a concern go for the safer one. These will fit nearly any 40mm fan as the screw holes are in a standard location.PrintingThese models have been designed to be printed either way up on the print bed. I used PLA which worked fine.
