About this model
Make a beautiful chess board using __toolpath painting__ to add patterns into the 1st layer of the print. I am playing with the concept of using the toolpath to add details to the finished model, and I am calling that "toolpath painting". You can add details inside a solid colored area with this technique. I have shared the openSCAD code so you can easily change the patterns and dimensions of the board. If the files I have shared don't fit your print bed then use openSCAD and the video tutorial to make your own files. I have also included 3 sets of STL files: 1. TEST print. These are the 3 files with names starting with "Test_layer1is0.5mm_xxx.STL". PLEASE SCALE THESE FILES in the Z direction only, you want only a single layer print.
