3-in-1 dishwasher soap tablets should be placed in the upper basket or cutlery basket and not in the powder dispenser housing. Indeed the action of soap must be done from the pre wash, the tablets are designed to dissolve gradually throughout the cycles of the dishwasher (prewash + wash).
