Update 2023-12-31: Newer Elegoo cardboard spools fit the bambu lab spool without the need for this adapter. This adapter allows you to use a Bambu Lab refill spool or equivalent self printed spool with an elegoo cardboard spool. I typically use the rings on cardboard spools unless the cardboard is warped or damaged. With damaged cardboard spools, I will use the steps below to use the elegoo core on a Bambu Lab spool. Adapter CoreEach spool requires one core adapter. Remove one cardboard sides off of the original spool.Place the spool on a sturdy surface with the open side facing up. Insert the adapter into the center of the spool. Make the edge of the adapter flush with the edge of the cardboard core. The adapter has a slot to line up with the notch on the Bambu reusable spools.
