If you've ever played a trading card game or board game, you'll know that picking cards up from a table can be surprisingly difficult. Getting your fingernail underneath a card can damage even sleeved cards, and for some people - particularly those with limited dexterity or grip strength - simply picking up a card from the table can be uncomfortable or impossible. I wanted to make something that could help. Why I Made This I'd been seeing some fairly aggressive social media advertising for a company selling a purpose-built card lifting device.
