About this model

I got a request for an F1 steering wheel, to be compatible with my Joycon Steering System. So here we are. The two main designs are the STD (standard) and CF (carbon fibre). The only difference being is a carbon fibre pattern is cut 0.2mm into the top face to emulate the zig zag look. I wasn't sure this would work but I think it looks ok. The other details are sunk at different depths so you can colour by layer. The Bar and the Open are if you want the overall shape but would like to save on filament and print time ( ~2hrs vs over 3). The Blank version is for your own design. Test printed with basic pla, 0.2 layer height and a 5% rectilinear infill. Please be aware that you might need to stick some “brim ears” under the trigger parts of the “B” version variants (or turn brim on to outer on…
