About this model

Dear model builders, I would like to introduce a new model of the Dutch Rijkswaterstaat boat (vlet) “Bellona”. This launch was built in Zaandam in 1984 and sold to a private owner in 2008. More information can be found on these two websites: The model is built at a scale of 1:15, with a length of approximately 72 cm and a width of approximately 24 cm. The boat has a removable interior wheelhouse. Since painting is not my strongest skill, I used different colors for some parts. I made the hull, servoholder, motorsupport and (interior) wheelhouse using an FDM 3D printer. I then treated the hull wheelhouse by painting three layers of ABS-like resin onto them.
