About this model

Wanted to see if it was possible to create a fully printed version of the Dispensing Valve Lid for Plastic Bottles. This squirts perfectly well, it just lacks the suck-back function of a commercially made silicone valve. - Fits on threaded 28mm plastic bottles. - Print the lid from something that survives hot water, e.g., PETG, ABS or ASA. - Print the valve from TPU (90A or 95A) with 0.20mm layers - this is both as the dispensing valve and seals the lid and the bottle. - To slit the valve: - Insert the valve into the lid with the membrane facing inwards towards thread. - Screw the cutting guide in place, - Using the slots as guides, cut the membrane with a scalpel blade - three smooth single cuts. - Remove the cutting guide and carefully extract the valve. - Check the cuts. - Re-insert the…
