About this model

I bought a set of wood paddle bits from one of the Asian amazon.com's, Temu, Shein, or something like that. They didn't come with a holder case, just the bits. So, I decided design and print one. Actually, I went through something like 4 iterations, before I settled on a design I actually liked. In the first design, the bits laid flat and the holder was 7 or 8 inches wide. At some point, I realized that since the bits had hexagonal shanks, I could print hexagonal holes to keep the bits aligned so that the upper row would fall in between the second row. I was lucky in that there were 13 bits, which meant the upper row could hold 6 and the bottom row 7, so the top row's bits lined up in between the bottom row's.
