About this model

Wanted a zoom ring extension for my new riflescope, a Vortex Crossfire HD 1.5-5.5x32, and didn't feel like buying one. Modeled this up such that it indexes exactly with the 41 slots in the zoom ring so it makes a nice purchase, and it has some missing teeth to avoid colliding with the set screw in the zoom ring. It's dead simple, nothing fancy... not supposed to be. Requires a standard short M4 bolt and nut. Recommend printing in ASA, but anything should work. Should print without supports, but one tree support on the top of the round bolt head socket helps if your printer struggles with bridging. Don't use a super stiff/brittle filament or else you won't be able to open it up enough to get it around the scope tube. Keep the cap of the screw pointing clockwise and slide the lever onto the …
