About this model

When using the Qidi Box, the filament retracts upon completion of a print. However, as the filament runs low, the combined weight of the spool and remaining filament decreases. This mismatch between the filament retraction speed and the spool's rotation speed can cause the spool to lift and strike the cover or lead to filament jams—potentially resulting in malfunctions (or, in the worst case, a Qidi Box error that halts the process). This case features a split design that allows you to insert weights inside. By installing this case into the center of the spool, you add weight to the depleted spool, thereby reducing the likelihood of such issues.
