LED strips are notoriously tough to lay and keep flat without help. This is a simple holder for LED strips that are enclosed with a clear plastic sheath (usually for water-proofing.) If your LED strip's outer sheath is 15mm x 5mm (or so) then it should fit. The "mushiness" of the plastic sheath keeps it snug. If your LED strip is bare you'll need to glue it in or use a piece of 2-sided foam tape or something, because without an outer sheath it won't hold itself snug. Anyway, the generously wide flat base makes it easy to lay strips flat (and keep them flat) or glue them, or drill holes to screw or nail them down, or whatever other needy little thing is required.
